The Royal Thai Embassy in Maputo, in collaboration with the Office of Commercial Affairs in Pretoria, presented the “Thai SELECT” certificate to two Thai restaurants in Maputo, namely Pekai Thai Pub and Restaurant and Spicy Thai Maputo.

The “Thai SELECT” certificate is a mark of quality awarded by the Royal Thai Government to Thai restaurants abroad that are distinguished for their authentic taste, genuine Thai culinary identity, as well as high standards of service and hospitality.

This recognition aims to promote Thai cuisine in Mozambican society, strengthen people-to-people relations, and encourage international communities to experience the unique flavors of Thailand.
