From 25 to 31 August 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Maputo, in collaboration with TICA and ten Thai agricultural machinery entrepreneurs, participated in the 60th Maputo International Trade Fair (FACIM) held in Maputo, Republic of Mozambique.
At the exhibition, the Embassy showcased a variety of Thai consumer products alongside a special display highlighting Thailand’s development cooperation projects in Mozambique.
In addition, Thai entrepreneurs presented a wide range of agricultural machinery, including power tillers, tractor attachments, rice milling machines, food processing equipment, and other agricultural tools. Some exhibitors also received support under the SMEs Pro-Active Program of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, who was in Maputo to attend the First Bilateral Political Consultations between Thailand and Mozambique, also visited the Thai pavilion at FACIM to meet with Thai entrepreneurs and engage with Mozambican local authorities.
The Thai pavilion was further honored by the visit of H.E. Mr. Daniel Chapo, President of the Republic of Mozambique, together with senior officials from various agencies. Notably, Thailand was awarded 3rd Prize for the Best Foreign Booth 2025, marking the first time the country has received this recognition.

The 2025 edition featured exhibitors from 28 countries and over 2,300 domestic companies, attracting more than 70,000 visitors. The event served as a key platform for Thailand to present its strengths, while exploring new opportunities for trade and investment in Mozambique.
