On 5 September 2026, H.E. Mr Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand in Maputo, hosted a luncheon at the Ambassador's Residence in honour of Mr Vishnu Varunyou, Vice-President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand, and the delegation of the Office of the Supreme Administrative Court, on the occasion of their participation in the 9th Session of the Global Rule of Law Commission of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), held in Maputo.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Maputo is leading the participation of Thai government agencies and private sector companies at FACIM 2026, Mozambique’s most important trade and investment fair, taking place from 31 August to 5 September 2026. Thailand’s participation aims to showcase the country’s strengths and promote Thailand–Mozambique cooperation in sectors with strong potential. H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, welcomed H.E. Mr. Daniel Francisco Chapo, President of the Republic of Mozambique, and his delegation during their visit to the Thailand Pavilion. On this occasion, the Ambassador presented the progress of bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, energy, modern agriculture, and development cooperation.

On 24 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Mozambique, hosted a Working Lunch between representatives of the Thailand–Mozambique Trade Association (TMTA) and leading Mozambican business organisations and private sector representatives, including Ms. Teresa Muenda, Executive Director of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA); Mr. Fileu Pave, Executive Director of the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM); Mr. Umed Alani, Chief Operating Officer of COGEF Group; as well as members of the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce and other relevant private sector representatives.

On Saturday, 22 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to Maputo, together with the officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Maputo and their families, joined the Ambassadors of ASEAN member states in Maputo to hold the first-ever "ASEAN Charity Bazaar" in Mozambique. Hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia at the Indonesian Ambassador's Residence in Maputo, the event welcomed around 200 guests.

On 10 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Mozambique, called on H.E. Mrs. Maria de Fátima Simão Manso, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Mozambican Communities Abroad, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, to present a copy of his Letters of Credence.
