On 2–4 March 2026, a Thai delegation led by Lt. Sorawud Preededilok from TICA visited Mozambique to assess sites for agricultural demonstration farms in Chokwe and Boane under a pilot project on sustainable agricultural technology. The delegation met with Mozambican government officials and IIAM representatives, agreeing to advance cooperation under South–South Cooperation and the Thailand–Africa Initiative in food security, sustainable agriculture, and human resource development. Mozambique also proposed additional collaboration in coconut disease management, fodder crops, and fisheries.
