On 18 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Mozambique, presided over the closing and equipment handover ceremony of the Thailand–Mozambique Seafood Processing Incubator in Vilankulo, Inhambane Province, Mozambique. The project aims to strengthen skills in seafood processing, promote value addition, and create economic opportunities for local communities. It is one of the development cooperation initiatives between Thailand and Mozambique under the Government of Thailand’s Thailand–Africa Initiative, which places emphasis on practical and sustainable development outcomes.

On 1 October 2026, H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Mozambique, met with H.E. Mr. Dirick Livune, Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to Mozambique, at the Embassy of Zambia in Maputo.

On 10 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Mozambique, met with Mr. José Luis Fernández Filgueiras, Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Mozambique, to exchange views on the potential and challenges of Mozambique’s agricultural and fisheries sectors, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation among Thailand, Mozambique, and FAO.

On 24 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Mozambique, received and held discussions with Mr. Mazwi Mmango, Area General Manager – Mozambique of Minor Hotels, and Ms. Sheila Mabote, Sales and Marketing Manager, at the Royal Thai Embassy.

On 19 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to Mozambique, hosted a luncheon in honour of Lt. Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), who is also Minister at the Royal Thai Embassy in Helsinki, and a delegation of experts from the National Food Institute (NFI), led by Ms. Urai Meechoo, Manager of the Industrial Engineering Services Department.

On 24 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Mozambique, met with H.E. Mrs. Wezi Moyo, Ambassador of the Republic of Malawi to the Republic of Mozambique, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between Thailand and Malawi across all areas, in line with the Royal Thai Government's Thailand-Africa Initiative.
