The Royal Thai Embassy in Maputo welcomed and facilitated the visit of the delegation from Phetchaburi Rajabhat University to Mozambique. The delegation was led by Air Chief Marshal Chalit Pukbhasuk, Privy Councillor and Chairman of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University’s Council, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sanor Klinngam, President of the University, as well as Mr. Wicharn Sirichai-Ekawat, Member of the University’s Council and Honorary Consul of Mozambique to Thailand. The visit aimed to further strengthen cooperation between Phetchaburi Rajabhat University and Rovuma University after the two sides signed a cooperation MoU on 20 November 2023 in Thailand.

During the visit, the delegation discussed ways forward for cooperation with Rovuma University in Nampula Province. Several meetings with other educational institutions in Maputo have also been organized, for instance, the Ministry of Science, Technology and High Education of Mozambique, Maputo Pedagogical University, Higher Institute of Health Sciences, and Eduardo Mondlane University, to explore additional potential areas of cooperation between two countries’ institutions.
