On 8th March 2022, Ms. Pinyada Reiniger, Charge d'Affaires a.i., Ms. Chanantiya Temahivong, Second Secretary, and Ms. Busbongkot Sirisakdanusorn Project Coordinator, Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited, Mozambique Office, attended the opening ceremony of the "Women of Today - Feeling" exhibition organized in conjunction of International Women's Day at Baia Mall, Maputo. At the event, Ms. Pinyada delivered a speech urging everyone to recognize and appreciate the contribution of women and girls to address climate change and socio-economic development that is sustainable, fair, and better for our children to live in.

In addition, Ms. Pinyada presented a painting created by the Embassy team, together with Mr. Gonçalo Mabunda, a Mozambican artist, and Mr. Celestino Mondlane, President of Mozambique Arts Association. The painting conveys the message of the relationship between Thai and Mozambican women through an image of a Thai woman giving Ratchaphruek flower, the national flower of Thailand, to a Mozambican woman. Alongside the artwork, the Embassy's booth also featured a short write-up by Ms. Busbongkot, representative of Thai women in Mozambique. The write-up highlighted the pride of Thais, Thai cuisine, her impression of respect for women in Mozambique, and the resilience of Mozambican women.
