On 9 February 2023, Mr. Soradjak Puranasamriddhi, Ambassador of Thailand to Mozambique hosted a welcomed luncheon for 18 Thai high-skilled workers who travel to Mozambique to work at a natural gas production facility in Inhambane Province. The group of Thai workers was the first batch of newly employed workers to enter Mozambique after the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, there are 59 Thai workers working on the project in Inhambane and more are expected to arrive in the near future.

On this occasion, the Ambassador briefed the workers about living in Mozambique, preparations for Thailand’s oversea national election, and the contact point of the Royal Thai Embassy in Mozambique.
