On 22 July 2022, H.E. Mr. Sorajak Puranasamriddhi, Ambassador, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr.  Salem Saleh Omar Mubarak Aljaberi, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates to Mozambique, to introduce himself on the occasion of his inauguration and discuss the close ties between Thailand - United Arab Emirates. The two exchanged views on political and economic issues in Mozambique, including international political issues and Russia's role in Africa. In addition, both sides discussed development cooperation projects in Mozambique and learned about Thai expertise in agriculture and service sectors and the possibility of conducting tripartite development cooperation projects in the near future.
