On 2 August 2022, H.E. Mr. Sorajak Puranasamriddhi, Ambassador, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Kimura Hajime, Ambassador of Japan to Mozambique, to introduce himself on the occasion of his inauguration and discuss the long-standing close relationship between the Royal families. Both sides also exchanged views on the situation in Cabo Delgado province, the investment and development cooperation projects of Thailand and Japan in Mozambique, as well as explored the opportunities for future tripartite development cooperation projects.
