On 18 July 2022, H.E. Mr. Sorajak Puranasamriddhi, Ambassador-Designate, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. José João Manuel, Ambassador of Angola to Mozambique, to introduce himself on the occasion of his inauguration and to discuss Angola-Mozambique relations in terms of security and economy, Angola's, as a SADC Member, role in Supporting Mozambique. Both sides also discussed Thai-Angola ties, the Royal Thai Embassy in Maputo to cover Angola, and Thai investment in Angola, especially in the energy industry. In this regard, H.E. Mr. José extended his invitation to Thai businessmen to Angola to seek business opportunities, and the Angola Embassy in Mozambique is ready to facilitate the Thai delegation.
