On 16 September 2022, H.E. Mr. Sorajak Puranasamriddhi, Ambassador, welcomed Mr. Amir Golbarg, Senior Vice President of the Middle East and Africa Operations, and executives from Minor Group at the Royal Thai Embassy. The two sides discussed the opportunities and challenges of operating a hotel business in Mozambique. Both sides agreed on the possibility of representing the identity of Thai food by opening a Thai restaurant in the hotel, increasing flights to Maputo, and reducing barriers to immigration will increase the number of tourists to Mozambique. Furthermore, to boost the tourism industry in Mozambique, Mr. Amir informed the company's readiness to provide training on the service and tourism sector to Mozambique officials to develop Mozambique's tourism business further.
