On 30 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Sorajak Boonratsamrit, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Mozambique, held a meeting with Mr. Gil Bires, Director-General of the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Mozambique (APIEX), the lead organization responsible for organizing the Maputo International Trade Fair (FACIM).

 

Mr. Bires expressed his pleasure at Thailand’s confirmation of participation in this year’s FACIM and acknowledged that more than 10 Thai companies are expected to join. He assured us that APIEX stands ready to provide full support and facilitation. The 2025 edition of FACIM is expected to attract over 800 foreign companies from more than 30 countries and welcome more than 70,000 visitors.
