The Royal Thai Embassy in Maputo organized ceremonies, including the oath-taking ceremony and the signing of the well-wishing book, as well as a volunteer activity to celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2024. Officials of the Embassy, spouses and family members, as well as the Embassy’s staff and members of the Thai community in Mozambique attended the event.

 

For the volunteer activity in commemoration of the Auspicious Occasion, the Embassy and members of the Thai community prepared and packed stationary goods to donate to children in need in the Maputo Municipality area. The Royal Thai Embassy will hand these packages to these children in due course.

 

Earlier in June 2024, the Embassy also joined the community service activities on Mozambique and the World’s Children Day by providing lunch and entertaining children from Kamaxakeni Area, Polana Caniço A District, Maputo.
